Intercultural Relationship Resources Update
I realize there hasn’t been a post in a little while - blame a new job, new dog, and on-going kitchen remodel (finishes tomorrow!!). However, in my random free moments I’ve been updating the Intercultural Relationship Resources page with a backlog of articles I’ve collected, as well as some excerpts and a rating system. I hope it’s more user-friendly now! Next up: a menu system.
I’ve put a fair amount of time into the page, and I want it to be as helpful to you all as possible. If there are any particular type of resources you’d like to see more of, or suggestions you have for new links, new categories, or new features, let me know and I’ll make it happen (eventually).

I have been checking the blog nearly everyday but it seems you have slept away and hence your much awaited posts aren’t showing up.
Aditya,my younger brother as a little boy would wake me from my slumber or general lethargy every now and then saying this phrase in the most comical way “wake up!!!you lazy girl!!!it was a line out of his english text book in the 1st grade.
I guess its time he said it to you as well.

Hmmmm I’m fairly new to religiously reading blogs but I love this group of people here. Is there any way we can have some sort of forum on here so we can all talk with each other? Maybe the maintenance on that would be too much though?? I’d love to hear more from everyone!

I’m in the process of moving and am less than one month away from my wedding so I haven’t had much time to read blogs lately, but I still check in on this one. Hi everyone! No real news from me, but I miss you guys, too. Glad to hear everyone’s doing ok. And I can’t believe that NK is posting on vacation — silly girl!
Yup, I’m here! Sorry I haven’t posted before now - I’ve sort of been in post-wedding hibernation mode, but things are getting back to normal now and we’re settling in to married life quite nicely. The wedding was stretched out over the July 4th weekend, and it went splendidly! We’re working on getting up a slideshow of some of the candid photos taken by friends so everyone can see them - when it’s done, I’ll post the link up here. But it was a lovely couple of days, and I think everyone had a really wonderful time. There were a few minor hiccups (as there always are at weddings), but overall, both ceremonies and receptions went surprisingly well. And it was just a really fun, loving time and both families blended so well together - we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding!
I’ll be making a longer post with more details about it in the thread that GG left open for us!
Ha! Yeah when SE Asia fries my brain too much I like to surf Gori a bit and say hello to all the fine folks here :).
CT: I got the most beautiful gagra (sp?) here in Malaysia to wear at Indian weddings…and you know what I mean by that.. I was going to send you an email but the computer here in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) won’t let me do hotmail.
Ara–if you’re out there–thanks for the advise on the burn! The oil DID make it worse!

@everyone - sorry that I haven’t been blogging that much; I’ve been trying to get a ton of things in my life straightened out. I think I’ve finally figured out that the pile of stuff to do never ends - so I need to just start making time for blogging.
@ Sarah M - nope, MasalaCouples was just left off by accident. I’ll be sure to add it in the next round of updating.
@ galaxie - I checked out the first few posts, but didn’t have time to comment… and then I forgot to go back! So sorry! You’re on the blogroll now, and I’ll start browsing around your blog on my lunch break tomorrow.
@pale_desi - I’ll look into the possibility of a forum, but I’m not sure if I have enough bandwidth at the moment to support such a site. I’ll see what the pricing is like… I do think forums would be pretty awesome!
