I’m with you on the Bengali lessons. Let me know if you find any other good resources for that. Seems difficult to find a really good site for learning.

Ohh thanks for the link to LiveMocha as well. I think its just as good as Rosetta Stone. I like how it shows the english alphabet pronunciation as well. Only thing that bothers me (and is definitely better on Rosetta Stone) is it appears you have to upload your audio for review. That makes a little nervous and I wish there was a way I could finish a lesson without having to do that. I’ll explore a little more!

Ooh! Thanks for the LiveMocha link; I’m too cheap to do Rosetta Stone, but I’ve run out of patience learning Hindi from books. This is an awesome alternative!

Wow is right, I hadn’t heard of it and looked it up just now based on this post and your comment. Darn though, they have Hindi and no Tamil, but I should be able to match up with some Tamil speakers.

mylanguageexchange.com is ok too, but you have to pay $6 a month for the privilege to contact other members. I got lucky and a couple of paying members contacted me.

And about the post secret, totally awesome! I definitely feel the same as the sender
